If rumours from Cannes are to be belived, Amir is going to share the screen with Oscar winner Kate Winslet (for 'The Reader'). Director Pan Nalin is all set to cast Amir Khan against recent Oscar winner Kate Winslet. The film is based on a short story "Toba tek Singh" written by Saadat Hasan Manto and takes a look inside a mental asylum in Lahore during 1947 and depicts Indo-Pak relationship during partition time.
Sources say that Amir is impressed with the script and have shown interest to play the lead male role.
After watching Kate Winslet in "The Reader" anyone would die to share the screen with the lady. She is one of finest actress of the generation with some great performances in her kitty ( from "Titatic" to "The Reader")
