Manasvi Mamgai Biography

Childhood

Manasvi Mamgai was born in Delhi but was brought up in Chandigarh. As a child she was not just good in studies but was also very active in theatre, dancing, skating and other extra-curricular activities. By the age of 14 she had already won many reputed competitions in dancing, singing, skating, etc.

2006–present

After finishing school she moved back to Delhi in 2006 and signed up with Elite Model Management India. In the same year she year she won the Elite Model Look India and also debuted at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week. Since then she has walked the ramp for almost all top Indian designers and shot campaigns like Fair and Lovely etc.

Miss Tourism International

Mamgai represented India at the 12th Miss Tourism International pageant which was held on December 31, 2008 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The pagent had 43 contestants from all over the world. She became the second Indian to win this title after Candice Pinto in 2001. She also won the voters choice Miss Popularity award.

MissWorld India 2010

Mamgai participated in PFMI 2010 and in addition to getting Miss beautiful screen, she was finally crowned Miss World 2010 India. She represent India in the Miss World contest in the coming days.

Manasvi Mamgai declared Femina Miss India World 2010

Manasvi Mamgai from Delhi has been crowned as Femina Miss India World 2010. Pooja Chopra, the PFMI 2009 winner, crowned Manasvi in grand finale of PFMI 2010.

Miss Indian Earth 2010 has gone to Nicole Faria while Neha Hinge was announced as Miss India International 2010.
